Watch on YouTubeVideoDividing fractions (KCF trick)
Keep, Change, Flip — the magic trick:
- Keep the first fraction.
- Change ÷ to ×.
- Flip the second fraction (reciprocal).
3/4 ÷ 2/5 = 3/4 × 5/2 = 15/8 = 1⅞.
Example
6 ÷ 2/3 = 6 × 3/2 = 9. Imagine 6 whole pizzas cut into thirds — you get 9 double-slices.
💡 Tip:Reciprocal of a/b is b/a. (Reciprocal of 5 is 1/5.)
