The simplest method: just PICK out impurities by hand.
Works when:
- Impurities are visible (different colour, size, or shape)
- Quantity is small
Examples: stones from rice, spoiled grains from wheat, bad potatoes from a sack.
Example
Before cooking dal, you scoop a handful and remove small stones and broken grains by hand.
💡 Tip:Slow for big quantities. Grandmothers are the world's best hand-pickers!
