Animals are grouped by what they eat:
- Herbivores eat only plants (cow, deer, elephant, goat).
- Carnivores eat only meat (tiger, lion, snake).
- Omnivores eat both (humans, crows, bears, dogs).
Example
Cow → herbivore (eats grass). Tiger → carnivore (eats deer). Human → omnivore (eats both).
💡 Tip:“-vore” is from Latin for “eater”. Herb = plant, carn = flesh, omni = all.
