Concept 1 of 2
Watch on YouTubeVideoPredicting unfolded shape
When paper is folded and a piece is cut out, the cut shows up symmetrically when unfolded.
Single fold (in half) → cut shape appears mirrored on the other half.
Example
Fold a square paper in half (like a book). Cut a triangle in the middle of the fold edge. Unfold → a diamond appears in the centre.
💡 Tip:More folds → more copies of the cut. A 4-fold paper produces 4 copies symmetrically.
