Electricity can be deadly. Safety rules:
- Never touch switches with WET hands.
- Don't stick fingers or metal into sockets.
- Don't use appliances with frayed wires.
- Don't overload a plug with many devices.
- If someone is shocked, DON'T touch them — switch off mains first.
Example
Hair-dryer in the bathtub is extremely dangerous — water conducts current through you.
💡 Tip:Earthing (grounding) wire in homes gives stray current a safe path to earth, protecting you.
