Concept 6 of 9Foundation
Watch on YouTubeVideoMountain and grassland life
Mountain — cold, thin air, steep slopes:
- Thick coats, strong hooves (yak, mountain goat)
- Conical trees shed snow (pine, deodar)
- Animals with more red blood cells (for thin air)
Grassland — open plains, predators on the hunt:
- Speed (deer, zebra) for escape
- Camouflage (lions blend into grass)
- Herd living for safety
Example
A mountain goat's hooves split, giving grip on rocks. A cheetah's long limbs let it reach 100 km/h briefly — great in open plains.
💡 Tip:Predators need speed, camouflage, sharp senses. Prey need speed, alertness, defense (horns, quills, numbers).
