Types of angles

  • Acute: between 0° and 90° (narrow).
  • Right: exactly 90° (makes an L).
  • Obtuse: between 90° and 180°.
  • Straight: exactly 180° (flat line).
  • Reflex: between 180° and 360° (more than a half-turn).
  • Complete: exactly 360° (full turn).
Example
Open a book fully flat — the cover makes a straight angle (180°).
