Walking and turning

For multi-step problems, draw the path on paper. Each turn = 90° (left or right).

A “right then right” = U-turn. A “right then left” = back to original direction.

Example
Aarav walks 5 m North, turns right and walks 3 m, turns right and walks 5 m. Where is he relative to the start?
5 N → 3 E → 5 S brings him back to the same horizontal level, but 3 m to the East of start.
💡 Tip:Always count steps. Even after multiple turns, just total up the N-S and E-W moves separately.
